There's an old expression that everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it. Not that they could. So we're having day after day of rain and the floods are coming back. Australia in in a lengthy drought. Parts of West Texas haven't had any rain since September. Chile and Japan had big earthquakes. Somewhere people are freezing and somewhere they are boiling. It's life on earth. Nowhere to hide. Gee, there hasn't been a big meteorite strike in who knows how long.
The photo is a soggy, misty place in Forest Park. There is always a chance of beauty along with the extremes.

Drought here. The photo looks so... misty.
As I'm typing this the sun comes out from behind the clouds. Looks like we are in for another summer day in Haninge. Sorry to hear about your rainy weather.
Actually, the Australian drought broke over our summer, Bob. So the eastern seaboard was immediately flooded. Then a cyclone hit Far North Queensland. And fires ravaged Perth.
If I set up a ranking, though, I would think Japan would easily top it. But the media cycle moves on ...
