Camera Camp, Day 4

One afternoon this week, we had non-professional models, just local people. Tery here is a fine jewlery designer and craftsman. The teacher is working our butts off but I'm learning a huge amount of stuff about photography.

The Champaign of Beers! What a random inclusion! Especially because he's wearing what looks like a tux with no tie. I guess it makes sense then along with his kind of scruffy face.

Anyway these portraits are great. I could certainly stand to learn a thing or two about the techniques you're working with.

You know, for the previous day's photo I was gonna say "Very nice photo and good looking guy," but then I saw this one. I definately like this one much better. The contrast between the clothes and scruffiness for one, and the beer and the way he's holding it. And, forgive me for being a silly girl here, definately much better looking.

I really like this photo--you seem to have captured something essentially Tery in this photo of him. (Although I thought he was a musician rather than a jewelry designer--actually that surprised me the most, but then I thought this is also what makes it such a good portrait.)

Tery! I love him and his jewelry is amazing. He's pretty silly but this photo is incredible!
