Pinocchio celebrates spring, but perhaps he is telling yet another lie: the summer will be normal. It's awfully lush in Citygarden for the first of April. The latest forecast is for 32 C., 89 or 90 F., today, with sunshine and hazy air. An August brown already hangs in the sky. The rabbits refuse to comment. They won't even scamper. Maybe they are conserving their energy.

90 degrees sounds like the weather in the Phoenix area yesterday.
I went to a Cubs spring training game yesterday against the Angels. How sad to see Albert Pujols in anything other than a Cardinals uniform.
