Made you look! The image above has nothing to do with St. Louis. It is an homage to the series of photographs called Tears (Les Larmes) by the Surrealist artist Man Ray, with a touch of the blues added in the computer. Man Ray used glass beads for the teardrops. Maybe he had the blues, too.

Unusual photo and quite creative!
Fantastic blue eyes! Love the blues....musically speaking. ;) I enjoyed the games between the Blues and North Stars. That's progress.
The Blues. My favorite hockey team and THE best jersey. I spent a lot of nights in the Arena/Checkerdome.
Outstanding blog entry. Eye-catching (ahem) and LOVE the St Louis Blues angle!
What a great contribution to the Theme Day! I am very impressed.
Love the Blues! I was nearly dancing with joy in front of my family. (I'm sitting in the living room checking out other "blue") ;)
Have a nice day!
I just love the color blue, very creative and impressive!

I love these blue tears even if the have nothing to do with Saint Louis. I think it's a great idea to have posted a blues song on this day. I stayed until the end to listen to it.
Why is she crying, because her mascara is clumped? I hate when that happens, too! ;)
Great catching photo! Certainly stood out on the portal today, and very creative.
The idea of linking it to the blues is brilliant, an outstanding take on the theme. Well done both for the photo and the concept!
Oh... and love the Halloween portrait series !!!
I should clarify something: the top photograph is not mine. it's Man Ray's (he always used both names as a unit. His life is interesting. He was born Emmanuel Radnitzky in South Philadelphia and spent most of his life in Paris. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_Ray). Anyway, the photo is from the early '30s and was B&W, of course. I added the blue in Photoshop.
This one made my day! I'm keeping your blog open so I can listen longer to the music. Love it. And great choice of photo for today. Well done. Love it. My dream is to go to Mississippi and Memphis which I'll do one day as my best buddy comes from Memphis and her busband from Mississippi. Thanks for the blues!
What a clever idea! Yours is the only photo of an eye that didn't make me cringe.

I think the eyes look very artistic!
Attacking the theme with gusto, I see!
The recording is great. Sounds like an old 78.
As a native of detroit and an adopted chicagoan, I must object to the blues jersey. Can we go back to red, please?
I love the blue teardrops one, that's really SUPER! Great work!
Love it. I can't believe those are beads. I totally forgot about the day. I've got to google calendar the theme day
Didn't realize you were such a rebel when it comes to themes. :-)
Great interpretation of the color blue.
