The small group I'm meeting with in Chicago went to the Cubs game last night. The Cubs have played in Wrigley Field since 1916. It's a small, wonderful place just plopped down in a North Side neighborhood. The Cubs have not won the championship in 104 years, the longest drought of any major North American professional sports team. They won last night, though, beating San Diego 5 - 3.
Home tonight.
Home tonight.

Oh wow Bob, you have certainly done Chicago proud! Brilliant series of images, enjoyed every single one. The Baha'i Temple is stunning, but I really like the sturdy CBD buildings like the Chicago Board of Trade building. Sounds like your having a pretty successful trip, both family and business wise. So in the baseball shots were you in what they call the 'bleachers'..I know nothing about baseball, just guessing :)
I hope to see a game of Baseball one day. I can almost feel the atmosphere just looking at the photos.
The poor Cubs fans. They're the Maple Leafs of baseball. With an even longer streak since championships....
