Seattle

.

I'm having hard drive problems with my laptop so getting pix uploaded and posts written has been a bit difficult. Part of today's activities was a walk through the very new museum and sculpture garden dedicated to the work of glass artist Dale Chihuly.  Lots more pictures of this to edit when we get home.

Love his work! Had the pleasure of taking in a show of his work at the Seattle Art Museum, and he did the stage designs for a production of Debussy's opera Pelléas et Mélisande that I took in back in '93. Wonderful.

Still very interesting glass art. Not only the color but also the form is very interesting. Like it.

good luck with the computer woes. great shot of the space needle. the chihuly curators know the importance of reflection when it comes to showing off the glass. you've done a great job capturing that.

Fascinating glass art, and I like that angle of the tower....

I have seen a lot of Chihuly. These installations are among the better ones.
