Found your way to a Dublin or Cork blog? No. It's St. Patrick's day in St. Louis. We have an official, sanitized parade downtown on the Saturday before St. Pat's. However, on March 17 itself, there is an anything goes parade in one of our old neighborhoods with the lilting name of Dogtown.

I wonder if she really is an "Irish" Princess? A real cutie, whether she is Irish or not. We all claim to be here in St. Paul on that special day.
A very pretty portrait.
My Theme Day is of a city unto itself, with its own zip code, and a portrait of the "Peashooter" at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. Hope you like flying.
she seems to be enjoying herself
hahaha, funny portrait!
So creative, so much in the theme and such a great photo.
She doesn't look too Irish (but what do I know?) but she's certainly a princess!!!!!
Adorable, and a very interesting twist on today's theme.
An adorable Irish princess! My children's preschool (long ago) celebrated St. Patrick's Day in a big way. I took photos of them dressed all in green and looking for the pot 'o gold at the end of the rainbow!
a "sanitized" parade. Love it. I find myself "sanitizing my life all the time for the sake of my kids.
Not saying that I'm the opposite, but they're getting older and wiser every day. I can't get away with anything.

Have a great day!
I think she looks very Irish! - aren't those red curls?
Yeh for the Irish! They get around! Happy Theme Day from Maui!
I came back to thank you for your visit to my blog and also to answer one of your questions. You had asked about the equipment I used for the photo shoot. Actually it is on the page under the photo. It was the standard lens that I got with the new Canon in 2005. I didn't use the new one as this one worked fine.
She is a cutie :)
Funny picture!
I think she looks adorable, Irish or not...and with a grandma's experienced eyes...she also looks like trouble!
What a lovely girl. I had the chance celebrating St. Patrick's Day when I was living in La. I got Irish friends. It was one of the best parties.
