We have spent a winter week at Horizontes del Mar condominiums for four of the last five years. It's heaven. We have only been able to do it because of an exceptional bit of fortune, too long to explain here, renting it for a very reasonable price. We could not afford the regular price. Sadly, it's up for sale now so this was probably our last visit. We were privileged to enjoy it as much as we did. We have come to love this part of Costa Rica and its people.
So I better get back out on the street in The Lou. It's going to be a miserable sleety, icy, snowy day. That gives me the opportunity to take some miserable photos. We'll see what happens.

So Bob, am I right in guessing from what you said yesterday it was your birthday? If so, happy, happy! Looking forward to St Louis photos Once you get over the shock of the weather :)
You have me beat. I only made it down there once and loved every minute of it....well, maybe not so much the zip lining. It truly is a beautiful place.
We are a lucky lot, if we stumble upon good fortune from time to time. Indeed.
WHAT a pool! I would gravitate there too.
Quite a beautiful place to spend time in, Bob.
Ah, yes, it looks like Paradise. I have become a warm-weather person. Snow's fine in the mountains.
After a week here you should be able to survive a few cold days at home!
The pool made me drool. What a place to splash around!
