Gray skies, urban grit and Saarinen's arc, colorless on this day, relieved only by a mustard colored hoodie. Most of the old industrial buildings at the bottom are vacant. Several have been on the blog before (like here and here).
This was taken from the Missouri-side approach road to the new bridge (which I think I'll call the SMVMB for short).

This does indeed look cold.
That's a stark but new angle to the arch.
When I was up in Connecticut, I posted a few "black and white in color" photos, which looked like B&W but were actually color. This would be a fun addition to a series like that. Florida has so much color that I think I will have to put that idea on the shelf until May.
I really like this shot Bob, there's a lot to see when you pull it in close. Hope the Arch won't feel a little neglected or overshadowed by the new bridge :)
Another great (and not so touristy) view of your arch. Yes the mustard hood in the bottom right corner brings in the right amount of colour. As you know I'm in love with your arch series and you reignite my flame remarkably efficiently with each new shot.
