Got what's going on? These ladies painted eyes on their upper eyelids. When they close their eyes they look like Betty Boop or zombies. The group was hanging out on the sidewalk by the Pridefest parade. It's a matter of taste, but I particularly like the second and third photos. The bottom one is one of my best group portraits, IMHO. It reminds me of the cover of an old Paul Butterfield Blues Band record I really like.
A lagniappe: this is Fourth of July week in the U.S. It falls on Wednesday so the whole week is kind of down the tubes. We're off to New Jersey tomorrow for the annual Crowe family get-together. My town, Webster Groves, MO, started its festivities last night with the opening of the carnival. I present a sample below. There will be more from Ridgewood, NJ, and the streets of New York City, but we're not finished with Pridefest yet. Not by a long shot.

j'adore ;))) voila un maquillage originale et amusant.
J'aime beaucoup la derniere photo de la fete foraine, je regrette que l'on ait pas de fete comme celle ci a Evry
I might just do that today. I wonder what effect it'll have at serious meetings.
Eyes. Hilarious and disgusting all in one.
Pridefest was a target-rich environment for your camera.
Sounds like a busy week ahead for you Bob. Love the group portrait, the characters lounging in the background made me smile. Oh I'm not sure abut those eyes, a wee bit freaky haha!
What a terrific make-up! Really cool! The light and colours on the bottom shot are outstanding. Great work, Bob.
Have fun on the Fourth!
We had Canada Day yesterday, and I'm feeling somewhat hungover, despite not touching a drop of alcohol....
I would not come up with the idea of painting eyes on my eyelids in a hundred years.
I hope the weather where you are going is okay. The Midwest and East have been awfully hot.
Super look... I'm going to offer to my clients for the holiday.
The East-West album, right? My all time fave.
