The Arch isn't exactly the main topic of this picture but it plays an important role. Besides, I think it's cool and I wanted to use it. The neoclassical building in front is what we call The Old Courthouse, built in stages in the mid-19th Century. It was used for state courts until 1940, when it was given to the federal government. This photo is part of the series of black and white HDRs of downtown courthouses I'm shooting for the office walls.

magique ce hdr b&w, on a l'impression que l'arche fait parti du batiment
Epoustouflant (oui, c'est la deuxième fois que j'utilise ce mot).
Great pic! The Arch looks like its part of the Court House's dome.
What a great pic. I like the lovely clouds very much too.
Fab-u-lous!!!
Well perhaps you went a bit over the top with the HDR but then the composition is so amazing that it deserved a bit of trickery. Why do I think of Ronald MacDonald when I see this image? Perhaps because it's too perfect. It could be main street in Disneyland too. It's the vision that America has of itself when it thinks of itself as the best.
Oooh, maybe I've going overboard here. Should I remove these remarks in case they are interpreted negatively? No, I'll leave them. I think you know me well enough now to know what I mean - and I mean no harm.
