Thursday Arch Series

.
Digging way back in the archives now. This picture was taken three years ago. It's also the first picture I ever edited with Lightroom. Lots of photographers I know swear by it. I've had it on my laptop for a while but I just didn't get it. Some people in Maine helped me begin to understand the system. Like just about everything, it will take practice and experience.

Lightroom has been recommended to us, but we do not have it. There is so much more to learn.

Your class in Maine looked excellent.

I can't figure out what the dark blue shape is in the top left. Very cool shot. Oh heck I can't seem to learn Photoshop Elements and my photos could use the help!

Great perspective Bob.

I have Lightroom and couldn't survive without it. Like every other piece of technology I own I only know how to use the basic features.

Great week in Rockport? What workshops did you take? Nice weather, I bet.

I know the Arch is high, but this looks like it was taken from a plane.

I like the abstract quality to this. I felt the same about Lightroom also and so therefore uninstalled it! I'm using Elements 8 now although I must confess that I may be beginning to see it's limitations now.

In awe once more.

It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at. Just superb.

Lightroom? My dream. I have very little knowledge of post processing. I use the basic tools in photofiltre. Wish I could enrol in a 3 month full time training course !
