Camera Camp, Day Three

.
I'm writing this late Wednesday night and I'm out of gas. There is precious little free time here. Everyone in our class is supposed to have a project for the week, some theme we will use to try to improve out lighting skills. Mine is definition of shape and space with light. Some of us went to a junk/antique shop in Cooper's Mills, Maine, called Elmer's Barn. That's where I found this.

Wonderful. It's interesting to experimentalize with lights and shadows.

Light, shadow, rust, circles, wood... Wonderful.

Elmer, I think, would puff up with pride to see his barn so beautifully captured.

I like this shot a lot. It's taking ordinary things and capturing them in an extraordinary way.

This must be fascinating albeit exhausting, Bob. I can't get the Tuesday photo to open but the others are most impressive. I particularly love todays with the different textures of metal, some shiny, some dull, the wood. Super shot.

I left a comment but POOF! It disappeared. Of course I have no idea what I said. I do like that pile of rusty stuff though B.

Great job on the photo, even if they are from the junk yard/antique shop.
