Watch The Beak


Another specimen brought out by the folks at the World Bird Sanctuary. I have only a basic idea of what vultures do for a living but we can assume that the beak is built for tearing flesh apart. Better to stay well away, IMHO.

That beak looks like it could do some serious damage. That was quite a show of interesting birds. I really like the raven who snatches tips and recycles cans.

A formidable bird. Vultures get a reputation as looking ugly, but I don't think that's fair- this one's quite distinctive.
