Rebirth...Of What?

.
We went to the
St. Louis Renaissance Faire yesterday afternoon, a wonderful excuse for people to dress in silly costumes and speak in outrageous accents. This arboreal cat-woman, however, spoke only in hisses and screeches. Got some great stuff but it's late and more will have to wait. And today's my volunteer job at the Gypsy Caravan. My hard drive runneth over.

My hard drive would probably have the same problem if I had been there. Looking forward to see more photos from this event.

Wooooo - how fabulous! My dog would eat her for breakfast. Great shot, Bob.

Well, I kind of thought she wasn't on the 'Welcome to Saint Louis' committee! Great make-up!

Is this an example of that phrase, "Getting your freak on" (asked in non-pejorative tone)?

Ooh... I've forgotten her name. She's an acquaintance of my Faire daughter, but something of a loner among the Faire cast. As the fae cat she sometimes crouches on the central bridge in the cool of the afternoon, but usually, you have to keep a sharp lookout to spot her. For a couple of seasons she played Reynard the Fox in a volunteer stage group -- mask, makeup, costume and mannerisms were flawless.
