Thursday Arch Series

.
The Arch lives in a city. These rush hour drivers heading east on Chestnut Street probably don't notice it, just the traffic light and the bumper of the car ahead of them.

I see brilliant autumn colors in the park around the Arch from my office window. I hope I can find the time to go shoot it. Not so far this week.

I often wonder if Parisians feel that way about la tour Eiffel. Surely they never tire of see that! I would think your Arch would be the same for your citizens. Always a delight for the eyes.

Ah Virginia! The tower is our beacon... ;-)
I an imagine them drumming on the wheels. That's what I'd do, but then I'm French. It's very, very nice to see the arch in the inner city perspective like that.

Not a thing wrong with dumpster diving through your archive. I'm thinking about that myself for tomorrow's post.

Love this perspective of the arch sheltering the courthouse. Lovely!
