St. Louis' Central West End neighborhood had its first annual Easter Parade Saturday. The parade and crowd were small but full of enthusiasm despite the gray, chilly morning. Above, evidence that Ronald McDonald has given up meat and become a Buddhist monk, as he goes about begging his sustenance.Below: Easter Bunny, Fredbird, Ronald McDonald and an itinerant juggling giant hang out in the staging area; the final float turns the corner of Euclid and Maryland; a group of school children are dressed duckishly.

TOMORROW: Most of you in the US have heard about the floods in the St. Louis area. A series of photos starts Monday.

Great photos. I love the kids dressed as ducks. I will have to remember that for my kids next year.
Poor Ronny McD. At least he didn't lose the governorship over a tryst with a high priced hooker. :-)
