Along the Delmar Loop

Back on May 23, I posted a picture from the interesting part of University City known as The Loop. I'm sure there will be more. This is an odd juxtaposition of vaguely Japanese objects in a store window. I thought the arrangement itself was interesting enough to photograph - and then this yellow-sandaled foot strode by, reflected in the window and stomped on the nice Japanese lady's head.

TOMORROW: Coco Chanel dances to an African beat, sort of.

Nice capture. The footstep on the face seems to be part of the image.

I just ruv this photo. Looks like an Aleksandr Rodchenko collage. And there are some great details in it I'm seeing now on further inspection. Are those plastic flower looking things part of the yellow sandal? They don't quite make sense like that. If not, what an amazing happenstance. Also, I just noticed yellow sandal looks to be in lockstep with green sandal at the very top of the frame. Awesome.
