Back to the warmth and security of unsere Stadt auf dem Mississippi. St. Louisans are charming, friendly people. Or most of us are.
Last Monday was 19 hours from first liftoff until last touchdown. Then work was, well, sort of a blow to the head. No time at all to edit or comment. Need to do what I can when I can.
And, hey, a great big thank you to our CDP colleague, Halcyon, and her husband for inviting us to their home for dinner while we were in Berlin. Meeting other City Daily members around the world has been one of the great pleasures of this work.

Glad you had such a wonderful trip and met some CDP members. That's fun. I like the National Sarcasm Society shirt that person is wearing, it's funny!
Hope everything is okay after a still bit tiresome trip. But it must have given some wonderful thoughts.
No matter how much you enjoy a trip it's always good to get home! Goodness, straight back to work, that's a bit tough Bob! There are at least three people I know that would wear the National Sarcasm tee shirt well 😀
East, west, home is best.
Glad you enjoyed your time in Berlin. You really don't need German in Germany anymore (unless you're out in the country). German children learn English from kindergarten on, probably another reason why this country has such a successful economy.
I could apply the stop talking shirt where some people I know here are concerned!
I'm not too keen on the first t-shirt butI think my partner could buy me the National Sarcasm Society one. I personally love it.
I can also relate to your "gee it's good to be back" comment. There's something about sense of being home that's quite amazing really. It's full of tiny things that you wouldn't rate as very important individually but in the end they do make the difference.
