The calendar says that spring began a few days ago. We haven't gotten much snow in St. Louis in recent years but yesterday brought the biggest dump of the season. This may be trivial to those to the north but it's earth-shaking here. We're snow weenies.
The weather gave me a reason to get out and shoot snow, an unusual opportunity. The top two pictures are my street, taken with a fish-eye lens. The bottom two are in a nearby park.

These are wonderful images. Just glad they are from your neighborhood and not mine. Like the use of the fish-eye lens.
It's cold here too but I don't think snow is in the forecast. Even if it was, I would never be able to take such magnificent photos... It's like a dream world in the silence that comes with the white stuff!
Winter has it's ugly side and also a beautiful side. You did a neat job of bring out the beautiful side.
these are wonderful, particularly the final shot.
I saw on the news that St. Louis was hit with a big snow storm, and I was hoping that you would post photos.
You'll get out in any weather for a good shot B. The fish eye looks like fun.

Should, I meant should :)
I like the fish eye photos - those can be tricky, but you really used them to great effect!
The storm made the news up here north of the border, and started off with footage from St. Louis. Quite the storm! Striking pics, Bob!
What a storm that must have been. I simply can't imagine that much snow at this time of year. You really captured the feeling with these shots and I simply love that dog bounding into the snow.
Oh, boy, Bob! I love all four photos. Love them! I'm so glad that I'm not in the snow, but I do thank you for getting out and taking these photos to share with us. And I'm happy that someone's dog was there at just the right moment. Wow! Your street is lovely.
Love the fisheye pics. I'm personally jaded by snow, living at 6,000 feet we see our share of it -- I won't even go outside to photograph it any more! I'm glad you enjoyed it. You made some nice images :^)
Love the fisheye pics!!!
Our Kelly would love to play with the dog in the snow!!!
