Okay, what are these guys all about? At first glance they look like characters in a Japanese sci-fi anime. The reference is to a very different culture, though. They are supposed to be the Jamaican bobsled team from the 1993 movie Cool Runnings. I think they come off more like a bunch of white guys from St. Louis who wanted parts in The Right Stuff but got distracted by a vacation offer from Club Med.
