Thursday Arch Series

.
A slash in the sky. It could represent something shooting into the heavens from the banks of the Mississippi or it could be the path of a large object falling to earth. Or, uh, it could just be the south leg of the Arch on a day with nice weather.

There is a new Arch photo today on Gateway. I'm going to try real hard to post to it at least weekly.

One thing it definitely is is another fabulous arch photo from the brilliant Bob Crowe.

A "day with nice weather" is a demeaning description of that amazing technicolor sky, Bob!! WOW!!! Bellissimo-look at those cloud/vapor trails...

Striking positive composition, I love the way the direction of the leg takes you up up and away.

That is a great picture! I like how you cropped the top off so it appears to ascend forever.

"Just...the south leg of the Arch..." Yeah, right. Just another stunning photo, that's all.

How incredible. It always astounds me the trillions of ways you find to photograph the arch and all superb.
