Thursday Arch Series

.
The Arch behind the bridge that carries all the Interstate highways across the Mississippi. It's officially called the Bernard F. Dickman Memorial Bridge. Bernie was mayor of St. Louis way back when. Ninety nine percent of metro St. Louis residents have never heard that name. Everybody calls it the Poplar Street Bridge, after the tiny downtown side street it covers as it leaps across the Big Muddy.

There is a new Arch photo today on Gateway.

on dirait la porte de ce pont. j'aime beaucoup le traitement qui adoucie la photo (hdr ? )

I like the way it towers over two bridges. The greyish blues are lovely.

Yes Olivier, a soft light that works particularly well. Some treatment to the sky I gather.

I'm a fan of your Thursday Arch series Bob, I've said it often, I'll say it again. An absolute fan. I'm off to Gateway now.

Like the repetition with the red flags. I too like your Arch series.
