So sang Bob Dylan in Like a Rolling Stone. I had nothing to put up for today. Zip, nada, zilch, rien, nichts. What's a blogger to do? Take a chance, maybe, see if it works. So I stopped by Citygarden on my way home with my point-n-shoot and no tripod, wondering if I could get anything usable. Nothing to lose. Umm, 1/4 second exposure, holding my breath when I clicked the shutter. Something worked.

Something worked indeed. Glad you took a chance. These are fun holiday decorations. They look like egg cases for some alien species. I wonder if they hatch on New Year's eve?
It worked! Beautiful photo of the night decorations.
Hand held night shots are a talent. Thank goodness for digital photography to make possible instant checks to see if they worked, and yours did. As Dylan would say, the times have been a changing.
How gorgeous. Man, you can pull a rabbit out of the hat on a moment's notice. I agree these look like alien eggs. So fun!

Wow, great shot. This turned out beautifully! And what a pretty spot!
A giant soccer field! I love this, it should be a St-Louis seasonal postcard.
Well done! Pretty nice shot.
Awesome! - thank you for the "new view" - more than that - thank you for showing me this city through your eyes . . what a gift.
I'll say! Wow! I was hoping you would find something in all those lights! What a delight!
Serendipity!
Proof, take your camera, never leave home without it. Pretty orbs of light.
