Busted

.
Pedestrians and cyclists accessed Interstate 64 for the stroll and ride at the reopening ceremonies via the entrance and exit ramps. They had to walk by one of these, making a not-too-subtle point. For those of you outside the US, your local terminology may vary but here the initials mean driving while intoxicated. And they don't mean on the joy of life.

TOMORROW:
Thursday Arch Series.

The guy behind the wheel isn't in uniform. I like the moment in which you've caught this, with the wheels angled as if about to turn out.

What a great image. I like the BW I think it adds to the photo. Great composition.

I only knew DUI until now. That's really impressive though. I was with a friend in Washington DC in 2002 and we got stopped because we'd made a left turn at the wrong time of day. Yup, we didn't know there were times when you can and times when you can't turn left. Anyway, polite though we were, we felt like horrible criminals.

That's a rather aggressive looking cruiser!

I thought really serious cops drove Crown Vics, but what do I know. If you hadn't told us we could have decided you caught this in mid-motion.
