Looking southwest on Gravois Avenue on my way from downtown to my daughter's home. The spire belongs to St. Francis de Sales Oratory, a conservative Catholic church (Latin mass and all that). I had a post about it some time ago.
Such a beautiful sky to back up that church. I remember when I worked in St. Louis and then in Chicago, how shocking it was to me when daylight savings time ended and it was suddenly dark at 5:00 PM.
What a fab image, love the silhouette of the church.. Were you on the way to see gorgeous wee Madeleine :) Our days are getting longer as yours are getting shorter Bob.

Beautiful light late in the day!
Wow. Just wow!
Sadly, much shorter! :-( What a gorgeous photo!
Simple but very very nice. I love silhouettes against sunset skies - but gosh, yes, how much shorter our days are now!
