It's Thanksgiving Day in the US, a mixture of gratitude, calorie bombing and football. Christmas is just ahead. This, however, is a gift suggestion that I do not endorse.

le jour du match de FOOT US en famille, tu dois etre heureux ;)) Bonne Thanksgiving (la premiere de madeleine ;) )
This a VERY bad idea. I agree.
Your post reminds me of a cartoon with two somewhat older children standing in line to sit on Santa's lap. One tells the other, "If you tell your parents you no longer believe in Santa, you start getting clothes for Christmas."
Vegetables would be worse.
Happy Thanksgiving to your family, and Happy Birthday to your mother-in-law. We celebrated Julie's grandmother's 93rd birthday last weekend.
Hope they don't try this with their own children. One can easily imagine the future therapy sessions.
"But Mom! What am I supposed to do with a radish?"
Ha ha, not my idea of a Christmas gift at all.
Ha! Not.
