People on the street at Pridefest. I ask permission to photograph individual people in public. Most say yes, a few decline, but at Pridefest nobody has a problem with it. Just be polite and friendly.
I'm thinking of Bobbi Lane, my portraits teacher at the Maine Media Workshops, as I write this. I could never have made these pictures without her instruction and inspiration. Best teacher I ever had in my life for anything.

Well done Bob! Bobbi taught you well, great portraits. Always nice when people are obliging.
I'm scared of that first one.
These are great!
EXCELLENT portraits Bob! It seems you've very much caught their personality.
What fabulous portraits. Superb.
Yep. Agree with everyone else. Top notch portraits here, Bob. Portraits are such a challenge, especially AFTER you ask permission. People have such a need to pose!!
You were a great student and I still say that you are the Pridefest photographer extraordinaire!
Brilliant portraits . . .that must have been *some* teacher--tho you also have the eye.
What great portraits on both Pride posts! Congratulations on the good work.
Some really great portraits here Bob.
