My favorite monument's weekly appearance got moved up one day. If all goes according to plan I will have spent Tuesday evening shooting at How Sweet The Sound and I'm sure I'll have photos to post on Thursday. Besides, the fog on the Mississippi yesterday morning was fabulous. Last Thursday's post was similar but yesterday's fog rolled back from the river to my office building eight blocks west. Fifteen minutes after this shot was taken the fog had disappeared.
MORNING UPDATE: How Sweet The Sound was a wonderful experience, both for music and photography. The picture below is an early sample. Full post on the event tomorrow.

It's like someone cued the fog machine. I'm used to fog starting up and moving down, not the opposite.
