STL DPB On The Road: Faces of San Francisco

.
I live in Podunk. Wouldn't see people like this back in STL. These are some of the faces I saw on the street in San Francisco yesterday, mostly at the Saturday Farmers Market at the Ferry Building and the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japantown. I'll add more if I have time to edit them.

Each portrait a small gem.

Wonderful portraits, and each so for detailed reasons. These are my peeps, the everyday faces of the Bay Area. . .it is different up here. I thought any major city on the west coast would have the diversity of the Bay Area and LA, but you have to look for it here. Hard. I'm glad you are enjoying people watching in SF. People up here see my nose jewel like the gal in your last shot and think it unusual on someone my age. They thought that of my husband's dreads, too :-). And we weren't all that colorful, really. Pretty low key.
Hope you are exploring outside the tourist zones a bit. I look forward to many more of your shots. In fact, I think I'll pop over to your Flickr site and see if you've posted more there.
