CDPD Theme Day: Lines

.
Well, this ain't my best theme day creation but that's how much brain is available. Go from Point A (Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA) to Point Y (Yardley, Pennsylvania, USA) in the shortest possible distance by going from link to link: Click here to view thumbnails for all 164 CDPB participants. It's a linear equation.

WHAT I'M BEHIND ON: everything. What happened to time to read a book? Maybe this blog and photography stuff is an unhealthy addiction.

TOMORROW: Thursday Arch Series

I'll just have to take your word for that! I’m not near my computer at the moment (have a visit to see where I am!)

Great idea, the blog dedicated to the biggest man-made line should point it out on Line Day. As to your other observation:
Yes, it is an unhealthy addiction, I'm considering taking up smoking to get away from it. Just as "walking a dog" implies you have a dog, having a photoblog implies a photography habit as well. And you have a blog. And you write. And you read other photoblogs.
I was actually at Barnes & Noble last night and didn't buy a novel I was looking at because I know I don't have time. Maybe I should cut the cable TV...

Oh it's an addiction alright. I would love to see a 12 step program with this rowdy crowd of bloggers sitting around in a circle! Yours is perfect today S.T. I say if you got it, flaunt it! I almost failed algebra in high school so I'll leave it at that Mr. Smartypants!

addiction? oh yeah? I can quit any. time. I. want. to. ... (uh, right after this next post...)
Great lines - and it looks like the apocalypse is imminent from the cloud cover. Bonus.

At least you worked on yours (which is wonderful). I slapped mine together last night when we got home from Memphis.

DCB might be an addiction. To me, at this point, it feels like another child. Each day "it" has to be fed, clothed, socialized, receive some of my attention, a little discipline, and most certainly my love. Whew.

I love this. A fascinating - and logical, come to think of it - take on today's theme.

Great sky in both images.

Thanks for all your comments. Theme day seems to be my main monthly draw. Some have commented on the qualities of the two photos and the sky in particular. These are both HDR images, which creates the dramatic effect. The first photo has already appeared on the blog. See http://saintlouismodailyphoto.blogspot.com/2008/08/hdr-in-perspective-poplar-street-bridge.html . I'll sneak the second in later on for Thursday, after people forget this post.

I expected to see the arch and I'm glad I stopped by. The HDR effect is wonderful.

I've was told I would never see Algebra again once I left high school. I just about gave me a heart attack. I couldn't do it then and I can't do it now.

It looks to me like quite a lot of brain power went into this post S.T.

Hey! This was a fantastic idea. You made a lot of folks smile with this one.

I'm sure I'd be able to get lost going from point A to point B.
