Last Saturday afternoon, the family took Madeleine for a walk in Benton Park in St. Louis' South Side. We found the remains of a chalk art festival that had taken place earlier in the day. These are a couple of samples. Should be more to come.
Benton Park hasn't completely changed, after all! I used to live in that area 25 years ago. We used to take Collin to Benton Park to feed the ducks. Cherokee Street was my former haunt--I get depressed every time I go there, seeing how much it has changed.

I love chalk art. It's somehow so zen, so impermanent! Enjoy it while it lasts.
