Weird

Some of the work at the chalk art festival was cute, some were funny and some were just strange. What's with the mild version of a sideshow, um, freak in the first picture? And that hippo - its tongue looks like the River Stix flowing into the land of darkness. À chacun son goût.                          

Chalk Art

Last Saturday afternoon, the family took Madeleine for a walk in Benton Park in St. Louis' South Side. We found the remains of a chalk art festival that had taken place earlier in the day. These are a couple of samples. Should be more to come.
