The St. Louis Art Museum sits on its hill, looking down at the flowering trees below. Mrs. C isn't sure what this one is so I won't hazard a guess. The colors of this view won't last long but this morning, when I went out to get the paper at the front door, the Post-Dispatch looked like it was lying in pink snow.

I am so glad this isn't black and white!
Candy pink.
My dad knew every tree and flower on sight and every bird on sound. I'm the village idiot. I love the sights and sounds of nature but can't tell anyone squat about them.
Pink snow?????
Sure is a good Spring sign.
It's surely lovely to gaze upon, whatever blossom it might be.
I was hoping that one of the earlier commenters could tell us what this tree is. No such luck. I think it might be redbud, but don't take that to the bank.
