I really should shoot more around Lafayette Square, the gorgeous neighborhood of old townhomes a bit southwest of downtown. When I'm out of ideas I just cruise around the city, waiting for something to catch my eye. Wandered by the square last weekend (that's when I shot yesterday's food trucks) and found a gorgeous moonrise.

Nice thinking on that moon shot.
I like the shot with the moon in it. Perhaps also by the funny dormer windows modeled after old design.
Love the fancy trim on that top floor too. It grabs my eye away from Mr. Moon.
I remember that area very well. I went to a sort of open house there once when several of the homes were open to the public. There was also a great little Mexican Restaurant near there and being from Phoenix, it was a good place to tame that craving for some Mexican food.
A beautiful pair of shots!
Your image of the two dormers with their scrollwork is nicely composed.
How fitting that La Fayette (two words please!) houses look like Saint-Louis neighbourhood houses!
