A Walk Along Washington Avenue: Thursday Arch Series

Walk Along Washington 5

You can see the Arch from the eastern end of Washington. The view is south down Memorial Drive. (I have never been able to find out who or what is being remembered.) Lots of geometry going on.

Perfect to the millimetre. And though I hate maths, I like geometry!

Great composition. Like the shot.

I like your style Bob, you've always got your eyes open for a new angle. I hope you're getting a break now and then.

Terrific angle for the shot, Bob!

I'll take a wild guess that it's a politician.

"Lots of geometry going on" is exactly what I was thinking. You put the arch in an unusual part of the composition.

Like the parabola among all those rectangles.

Perfect positioning - the composition reminds me of Mondrian.
Another great addition to your Arch series.

I wonder if getting all the traffic lights green rather than red could have been a nice addition, just to match the green street signs? Maybe not.
