ST. LOUIS PUBLIC SCULPTURE - MARIPOSAS

 

Mariposas, butterflies in Spanish. This unusual work is found on the side of the Central Branch of the St. Louis Public Library, a wonderful building worth exploring for its own sake. It seems like a perfect metaphor for the wonders of reading. Now, if I could only get my granddaughter's face out of the Roblox screen , , ,                   

Mariposas

Mariposa is the Spanish word for butterfly. These shots are from the Butterfly Garden in Monteverde. So much to shoot, so little time. Night forest walk last night after I published this, daybreak forest walk today.

And so little time to write. We are staying at the mind-blowing Hidden Valley Treehouses Hotel.  There is WiFi in the main building, which closes at 8 PM, but not in our treehouse. More time to write when we get to Tamarindo.
