GUARDIAN

Looking just up and over from the view in yesterday's post, a pair of copper griffins guard the main east entrance to Tower Grove Park. They must have some useful power because what's inside is pristine.              

THOU SHALT NOT PASS

One of the pair of gryphons that guard the east entrance to Tower Grove Park. There is a long list of things I'd like to keep out of 2021. One of them will sneak in at the beginning of the year but will be gone in just under three weeks, barring disaster.                  

Dragon Breath (Dumpster Diving)

I have absolutely no fresh material. Lots of family stuff last weekend and overwhelming amounts of of work. (Did someone say I was going to retire soon?) So we have to dive into the archives.

This was taken in June at the eastern gate of Tower Grove Park. I don't think I have published before. A pair of griffins on pedestals face each other. The one on the north blows fire and smoke.

Probably have something for theme day tomorrow.     

Guardian

One of the griffins that guard the east entrance of Tower Grove Park. Always good for a post if there's nothing else handy. Perhaps exhaling smoke?      

Pick Yer Griffin

This pair of griffins top the columns at the east entrance to Tower Grove Park. I don't know which of the photos I like better. Slightly different effects and feeling.

The church in the top photo is where Mrs. C and I were married. Getting close to 42 years now.                

Who Guards The Moon?

Well, I was going to post another picture from the Veterans Day parade but oopsie! I left the external drive with those images on my desk at work. So maybe back to that tomorrow.

For today, then, part of the eastern gate of Tower Grove Park as the sun was setting behind me. This post needs some background music.
