From The "Better You Than Me" Department

One of those artificial rock climbing walls on the grounds of the Hispanic Festival. The people who try this are well-secured and I'm sure it's  perfectly safe. Still, I look at this fit young woman and think of my damaged shoulders and creaky knees and conclude that I was much better off where I was.      

For The Young And Well-Coordinated

Which excludes me on two counts.

The old building that contains Element restaurant also has a large indoor climbing wall. The restaurant is on the second level and has windows looking out at the climbers. It boggles my mind that these athletes can just hang backwards from overhanging slopes.

This young woman has muscles I've never been introduced to. When she got back to the floor she gave us a proud wave.
