Signs Of Spring

Finally. It got up to 76 F / 24 C yesterday. (I, of course, was encased in an office building.) These pix are from the botanical garden on Sunday. Above, the first buds of the cherry tree blossoms, and below, a robin finding plenty to munch. Listen to today's background music here.      

In A Week's Time

Some of the family went to the botanical garden yesterday. When I was last there eight days ago the place was pretty barren. Now the cherry trees have cracked open throughout the Japanese garden. Why, it was just like them old days in Kyoto.
