I don't know if this bit of silliness is American, international or what. Have you ever seen these tiny rotund dolls with fluorescent fright wigs, sometimes nude, known as troll dolls? You can buy about a zillion varieties of them on Amazon. One group of women chose this as their theme for the Idiotarod. They looked like pregnant streakers on a bad hair day.
