It’s New Year’s Day, and City Daily Photo members show off their favorite picture of the year just ended. This is a bit of the joy I get from doing theatrical photography for the St. Louis Fringe. These girls and their theater group are from a town maybe 90 minutes from St. Louis, one that has seen better times. The outstanding company did a spin-off on A Midsummer Night’s Dream centered on Puck. That’s the sprite at top center. Talk about a charm offensive.
New Year’s Day, and time for City Daily Photo members to give us their best shot, so to speak. This isn’t St. Louis but it is my home town, so that’s good enough. Taken from a taxi window somewhere in midtown Manhattan last summer in the haze of late afternoon. It’s a real piece of New York. Will you dine with me?

Happy New Year to all our friends and colleagues. On the first of January City Daily Photo members share their best image of the previous twelve months. This is my favorite from 2022. It's not St. Louis but it appeals to me: a view of coastal mountains in Southern California, taken from an airplane approaching Los Angeles.
