It was a rich visual year for St. Louis Daily Photo. 362 total posts. The ones I'm bringing back today are my favorites.

ReplyDeleteBonne et heureuse annee 2013
I'm glad you chose one a month. It's interesting to me that, as an agoraphobic, I have very few people photos in my 2012 favorites--mostly, it's nature. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jlcrook/sets/72157632395105187/
ReplyDeleteIt is a great series, Bob. Your First Night and Death Valley photos really kicked off a creative and productive year.
ReplyDeleteThose are such great photos! Nicely put together!
ReplyDeleteGreat set of images Rob. Have a great 2013!
ReplyDeleteWell I'm sitting back in awe B. What a fabulous collection of memories and what a fine, fine photographer you are. Here's to 2013 and many more from you!

What a fine retrospective. Wouldn't even try to pick a favorite. Here's to the adventures of 2013.
ReplyDeleteAlways wondered about death valley but not sure if I'd really like to go there - love the fisheye upshot and appreciate the slutwalk (there is too much blame-the-victim-mentality about these days)
ReplyDeleteSuper retrospective of great shots! The light in the first night shot is killer, as are their expressions. I love the asymmetrical arch shot, too. And that little kid at the Lobster fest got me singing "Ain't that America!" for some reason. Juxtaposed with Not Asking For It gave both shots extra punch for me. These are each grand. Cheers, and wishing you a fab year of making images and having adventures extraordinaire!

what a great selection ! :) happy new year from Besançon :)
ReplyDeleteA collection of stellar photos, and so happy that you shared them with us. After viewing them I can fully understand why it is difficult to choose just one. I'm going to try, tho. I prefer May 6 above all the others, particularly the perspective, tones with a variety of buildings' shapes. The Halloween shot fascinates me, especially her eye! And Badwater, Death Valley gives me pause...the child's image and the subtle spots of red makes it seem surreal. And very weird! Happy New Year to you.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a collection of amazing photographs! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!
Bob, these photos represent very well the wealth of photo opportunities you discover, as well as your skills and what I believe is an top-knotch "eye" for an image that not only works, but also speaks to those lucky enough to find your blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Portland Oregon Daily Photo and letting me know which image you liked better.
Oh wow Bob, I literally cannot pick a favourite, they are all fabulous in their own right. If I had my arm twisted, it might be the atmosphere and the warm glow of the balloon firing up. Excellent choice.
ReplyDeleteMany fine photos here. Keep up the good work this year Bob.
ReplyDeleteWow, an amazing retrospective. Such beautiful photos... amazing! Happy 2013!
ReplyDeleteWow, Bob, this is a superb collection. Wonderful, wonderful stuff.
