Here Comes The King

That is the name of the song that is played whenever the Budweiser Clydesale horses are out on the march because Bud styles itself the King of Beers. Personally, I think the monarchy has been deposed but that's another matter.

You find these mammoths at many major events. I'm sure they will be in the St. Patrick;s Day parade next weekend. The team is a fixture at opening day of the baseball season, not far away, where they trot around the dirt track that surrounds the playing field. Be assured that the product they represent will be for sale everywhere you look.

I could mention many other brands of beer that actually tastes a lot better, Skål! But I like the horses here.

In my eyes this are Belgian workhorses since ages used for this kind of work indeed for many other brands of beer including Heineken and Amstel in Holland and in the middle ages used for carrying knights on warpath with their harnesses on.

I just missed them at an event here last year and I was so disappointed. They really are beautiful creatures.

I saw this briefly on Facebook Bob, it's a fantastic image, love the movement of the horses as they come around, you caught that sense of motion perfectly!
