Intimidation

           

Found in the old derelict industrial area south of the Arch park. My take is that it is meant to intimidate, the Mississippi River being close by.  

It reminded me of this 2012 photo, taken just a block or two away. I wonder if the same person or persons was involved.

Scenes from the industrial and railroad area south of the Arch. No shying away from the gritty, ironic side of the city. Read this as a diptych or any way you like.

One irony is that this is not a dangerous area, just post-industrial quiet. Not much going on, nothing valuable, no homeless, no drug dealers. I wonder how the taggers made those two-story tall letters without being noticed. The building is in plain view. The boxcar below was a short distance away. This little bit of America could use some rebuilding.
