Which excludes me on two counts.
The old building that contains Element restaurant also has a large indoor climbing wall. The restaurant is on the second level and has windows looking out at the climbers. It boggles my mind that these athletes can just hang backwards from overhanging slopes.
This young woman has muscles I've never been introduced to. When she got back to the floor she gave us a proud wave.

Looks fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm not old and I'm reasonably co-ordinated, but I still don't like these things! :)
ReplyDeleteNever tried the sport myself but I have met and photographed a few people with that hobby. Cool idea to combine this with a restaurant. Oh, and great snaps of this athletic woman.
ReplyDeleteOn our cruise ship there was a climbing wall. What a view that must be from the top. For you, she might ask, "What's for dinner?"
ReplyDeleteI tried that once and I think I made it up about 5 feet off the ground. That was the end of it.
ReplyDeleteReally neat shot, but that's one thing I won't try. Don't even think I would have been interested when younger.
ReplyDeleteIt's good exercise, and it keeps you in fine form over the winter. Still, I prefer the feel of a real rock face to climb. Terrific shots, Bob!
ReplyDeleteI'll stay with you.
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish!
ReplyDeleteSo, Bob, were you there because you were thinking about giving it a try?
