Scenes from Seattle''s famous Pike Street Market. The place is famous for the fish vendors who hurl salmon through the air to one another, to the delight of tourists. Must have been a slow day at the shop seen above.
BTW, there is no doubt that the wires were there before the tree. Utility line workers hate trees like that and would never place the line above a tree like that. It makes their work harder and less safe when trees are too close to the wires. Some dummy planted the tree under existing wires.
faut comprendre le vendeur, il doit se lever tres tot :;)) superbe deuxieme photo qui fait tres vintage
ReplyDeleteSigh. I want to be there.
ReplyDeleteYou caught the decisive moment at the fish stall...
the market is so colorful but i love your decision to go with b&w.
ReplyDeleteGood choice to go with black and white.
ReplyDeleteDid you get a shot of the workers throwing fish through the air?
ReplyDeleteI love this market.

Black and white was the best choice. I see Jack didn't weigh in on this one. Good. I win! :)

These shots look like they could have been taken in the 50/60's Bob, the B&W adds so much to the feel of them.
