Hello to the beginning of the work week. Ever feel like this on Monday morning?
The Hispanic Festival had something for everyone, including children. Well, maybe not stiff, boring WASPS but definitely good stuff for the kiddies - face painting, balloon animals and hats, and puppets. They had a musical show so why en la tierra were they singing in English rather than Spanish? The music was recorded, of course, and it would have been so easy: para bailar La Bamba se necicita una poca de gracia...
je les connais pas, mais elles sont amusantes ces marionettes, et j'aime bien le regard des enfants
ReplyDeleteThe boy in your last photo looks like he is deep in thought.
ReplyDeleteGreat colorful portraits. A lot to see in your site, your verve on Latin music, sure it was fun. And congrats for your magnificent series of The Color Run, I wish I had been there!
ReplyDeleteI like the shot of the girl covering her face.
ReplyDeleteJust as long as one of them isn't Elmo. That muppet is an accursed abomination....
ReplyDeleteThey would have fit in perfectly at the Haninge festival.
