This certainly helps visualize the personal losses. Each flag should be multiplied to represent the spouses, parents, children and siblings of those whose loss has left such a hole in the heart of the survivors.
Thank you for posting, Bob. I read the article in the Post last week describing what was planned. I really appreciate your pictures of a beautiful tribute. In Union City, CA, there is a beautiful memorial for hereos of Flight 93. We must never forget.
3000 is just a number until you see how many that really is. This looks like a very moving display.
