... you can always post a picture of St. Louis. And, of course, he was King of France and, according to plan, in ten days we'll be in France. Yippie!.
Hope to do better today. There is a restaurant and bar on the far south side called Iron Barley that has its annual Tomato Fest today. They will attempt to create the world's largest BLT. At 1 o'clock there's tomato dodgeball. Your inquiring photographer plans to watch it all go splat.

Oh I'm green with envy about your up and coming travels Bob, how fantastic!Nothing wrong with the shot of Saint Louis, very dramatic perspective you've given him. Look forward to 'squishy' images tomorrow, you might have to do a bit of 'duck and diving' haha!
ReplyDeleteNothing to post?? St. Louis himself IS something. As a former St. Louisan he brings back many wonderful memories of Forest Park. Thanks for this post. Looking forward to the world's biggest BLT as well.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy a good BLT in winter with a bowl of tomato soup. Call me crazy!
ReplyDeleteBLT ? cela veut dire quoi ? bientot la France, c'est un beau voyage et puis tu vas rencontrer des gens super sympas ;o)))
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind a BLT right now. I'm not sure Saint Louis would though.
ReplyDeleteHah! I understand the feeling. In Hartford, the fallback is to post a photo of the Capitol, the nearby horseback statue of Lafayette or something in Elizabeth Park.
ReplyDeleteI struggle sometimes to find something new to photograph. For a runner up picture, it's very good.
ReplyDeleteI SWEAR, you are lucky on two continents......all the time. Geeeesh.
